DID YOU KNOW?
A typical 5,000 sq. ft. lawn generates about 75 pounds of grass clippings per mowing. This converts to .0375 tons per mowing. Mowing 5-6 times per month generates approximately 1.38 tons per season.
Bagging grass adds 40% more time in routine lawn care.
Bagged grass cost the Township $ 50,000.00 to dispose of in 2009. Bagging the grass also removes the nutrients put down when fertilizing.
